Em torno de <strong>2 \u2013 3 dias antes do parto<\/strong>, os n\u00edveis desse horm\u00f4nio come\u00e7am a <strong>subir<\/strong> e alcan\u00e7am seu pico no dia do parto.<\/li>\n<li><strong>GH<\/strong>: se mant\u00e9m em n\u00edveis relativamente basais de forma geral e aumenta gradualmente no final da gesta\u00e7\u00e3o, devido ao desenvolvimento da gl\u00e2ndula mam\u00e1ria e se mant\u00e9m elevado ap\u00f3s o parto.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prolactina<\/strong>: o pico de prolactina ocorre pr\u00e9-parto, e no dia do parto da vaca suas concentra\u00e7\u00f5es come\u00e7am a cair de forma pouco significativa. A <strong>queda<\/strong> mais expressiva ocorre em torno de <strong>2 a 3 dias antes do parto<\/strong>, e ap\u00f3s a progesterona se manter\u00e1 nos n\u00edveis m\u00ednimos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Progesterona<\/strong>: a progesterona se mant\u00e9m alta por todo o per\u00edodo gestacional da vaca. Come\u00e7a a ocorrer uma <strong>queda mais significativa entre 2 a 3 dias antes do parto<\/strong>. Esse reflexo desencadeia contra\u00e7\u00f5es miometriais e musculares abdominais mais fortes, facilitando a distens\u00e3o da vagina e c\u00e9rvix a expuls\u00e3o do feto.<\/p>\n<h2>Ocitocina x gesta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n<p>Diferentemente de outras esp\u00e9cies, as vacas apresentam uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o significativa na <strong>concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de receptores uterinos de ocitocina<\/strong> durante a gesta\u00e7\u00e3o e parto, o que sugere que existe um papel desse horm\u00f4nio no mecanismo de parto das vacas. (FUCHS, 1992)<\/p>\n<p>No entanto, durante o per\u00edodo gestacional o \u00fatero grav\u00eddico est\u00e1 sob efeito da progesterona. Estudos demonstraram que n\u00edveis baixos de receptores de ocitocina est\u00e3o associados \u00e0 maior concentra\u00e7\u00e3o plasm\u00e1tica de progesterona (JENNER et al., 1991), o que resulta em bloqueio da express\u00e3o e ativa\u00e7\u00e3o dos receptores endometriais de ocitocina.<\/p>\n<p>A a\u00e7\u00e3o da progesterona durante a gesta\u00e7\u00e3o impede a motilidade do miom\u00e9trio, ent\u00e3o mesmo que exista n\u00edveis s\u00e9ricos de ocitocina al\u00e9m do fisiol\u00f3gico n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 suficiente para levar uma vaca ao aborto, pois n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 receptores no endom\u00e9trio para realizar a liga\u00e7\u00e3o com a ocitocina circulante.<\/p>\n<p>Os canais de ocitocina come\u00e7am a ser liberados gradualmente ao final da gesta\u00e7\u00e3o, momento em que os n\u00edveis de progesterona come\u00e7am a cair e os de estr\u00f3geno aumentam. A concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de receptores de ocitocina apresenta os n\u00edveis mais altos algumas semanas antes do parto, promovendo ent\u00e3o as contra\u00e7\u00f5es miometriais mais intensas e com intervalos mais curtos que s\u00e3o associados \u00e0s contra\u00e7\u00f5es abdominais que iniciam na fase de expuls\u00e3o do feto e anexos fetais.<\/p>\n<h3>Ent\u00e3o se o uso ex\u00f3geno n\u00e3o interfere na gesta\u00e7\u00e3o, quais s\u00e3o os desafios associados ao seu uso?<\/h3>\n<p>A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o ex\u00f3gena de ocitocina est\u00e1 associada a <strong>corrigir a eje\u00e7\u00e3o incompleta do leite<\/strong>, devido a sua r\u00e1pida a\u00e7\u00e3o e atua\u00e7\u00e3o na gl\u00e2ndula mam\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n<p>No entanto, existem problemas associados \u00e0 transmiss\u00e3o de doen\u00e7as infecciosas que podem estar associadas \u00e0 pr\u00e1tica da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o da ocitocina, como a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rehagro.com.br\/blog\/tripanossomose\/\">tripanossom\u00edase bovina<\/a><\/strong>. O que aumenta as chances do animal desenvolver flebites por contamina\u00e7\u00e3o e os riscos de ocorr\u00eancia de surto na propriedade.<\/p>\n<p>Trata-se de uma quest\u00e3o de sa\u00fade p\u00fablica importante, sendo importante <strong>evitar o compartilhamento de agulhas entre os animais<\/strong> e, utilizar desinfetantes, como CB30 para deixar as agulhas de \u201cmolho\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>Conclus\u00e3o<\/h2>\n<p>Mais do que compreender o papel isolado da ocitocina, <strong>\u00e9 essencial reconhecer como o equil\u00edbrio hormonal da vaca durante a gesta\u00e7\u00e3o e lacta\u00e7\u00e3o reflete a complexidade da biologia reprodutiva bovina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A seguran\u00e7a do uso ex\u00f3geno da ocitocina na ordenha n\u00e3o est\u00e1 apenas na aus\u00eancia de receptores uterinos ativos, mas na harmonia do sistema end\u00f3crino que regula, com precis\u00e3o, cada fase da vida produtiva do animal.<\/p>\n<p>Esse entendimento refor\u00e7a a import\u00e2ncia de decis\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas baseadas em ci\u00eancia, e n\u00e3o em mitos ou percep\u00e7\u00f5es equivocadas do campo.
